Mrs. Gail Hein has been a first grade teacher at Immanuel since 2000 and in the teaching ministry for 29 years. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon. She enjoys teaching beginning reading and seeing children develop in their skills as readers and writers.

Along with teaching first grade, she serves on the worship team at Immanuel Lutheran Church, leads the large group teaching time for the elementary age children at Immanuel’s midweek ministry and enjoys leading children’s messages in worship occasionally. She enjoys traveling with her husband Paul, reading, cooking and Sudoku puzzles.
