Juliet Meyer has taught at Immanuel Lutheran School for all 29 years of her ministry in teaching. Juliet has taught a variety of lower level elementary grades over the years including first, second, third, and fourth grades. She also conducts an after school art program, "Little Leonardos".
Mrs. Meyer is married and has 2 grown children, a son-in-law, and a beautiful granddaughter and a new grandson. She enjoys watching movies with her family and dogs, fitness through running and biking, and creating works of art. She has recently completed two half marathons in her running endeavors.
What motivates you as a teacher?
"The energy the kids bring to the classroom is what keeps me energized! I love 'seeing how kids think' when they produce art projects in my classes. I think visual arts in the classroom is essential to expressing one’s self."
