Benefit Auction FAQs

What is the ILS auction?

The ILS Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) has been hosting the annual benefit auction for many years. The auction is the school’s largest fundraiser. All proceeds benefit the children at the school by providing the “extras” such as athletics, lockers, music, library, computers, smart boards, bleachers, etc. In 2012, we were able to raise over $50K!

When and where is this year’s benefit auction?

The 2014 Annual Benefit Auction "Big Bucks for Little Buckaroos" will be held on Saturday, March 22nd at 5 pm in the school’s gymnasium. Watch the weekly Sonshine Line for follow-up information.

What’s for dinner?

We started with a sumptuous fare of delicious appetizers out in the atrium during the Silent Auction. The appetizers will be black bean cakes with chive sour cream, Eli's beef and potatoes stew and mini burgers with green chilis and cheddar..

As you entered the gymnasium for dinner, you were served a dinner salad of fresh greens.

The main meal was a buffet this year that included barbecue ribs and chicken, grilled kielbasa, riblets with potatoes, onions, bacon and mushrooms, ranch beans, trailhead vegetables and cornbread

There was a dessert buffet filled with scrumptious desserts!

Is there any entertainment?

Yes, we were treated to a great selection of Jazz music by Andrew Vogt's Jazz Quartet.
