What's Happening at ILS?

Enrichment

Chess has become a very popular after-school activity at Immanuel Lutheran SchoolOccasionally Immanuel offers after school enrichment classes for our students.  As they become available, they will be communicated in our weekly newsletter.  Some of the choices offered recently include:

  • Chess
  • Little Leonardos Art Class taught by Juliet Meyer
  • Lego Robotics Teams for 5th - 8th grades

Grandparents Day

Grandparents are part of the Immanuel family too! Each year as part of our National Lutheran Week celebration, we host Grandparents Day where students in K-8 may invite their grandparents to spend the morning with them at school. Typical activities on Grandparents Day include a continental breakfast, attending their grandchild's classes, recess, meeting the principal, and lunch. Depending on the scheduled date, grandparents have also attended chapel and previewed the middle school musical.

Splash Bash

Spash Bash is a fun back to school festival each fall. Our Scrip Team and PTF host a back-to-school Splash Bash in the fall for all of our students.  A dunk tank, an inflatable water slide, bounce houses, games, face painting, and food are a few of the activities that make for great fun for students and parents alike.
